Juz wan ask u all, how come horz teenagers can have sex at the age of 16, but then we can onli watch p0rn movies at 21 yrs of age ar?

I first heard tis qns on a tok show between students and ministers.One student ask the minister de but then coz tat time i got someting on so i missed the minister's reply. Anyone noes the ans?

ps. asking coz of pure curiosity not coz i wan watch. my stand on p0rn was made on another thread le.

Simple answer,singapore has stupid laws

Another Eg,age 18 old enough to join the army,be trained to killed people but not considered old enough to watch RA show......

Killing ppl is diff from watching RA shows lahz. The RA i mean is those p0rn de. Not those tat are like Borat or got veri bad war violence de.

And i dun tink onli SG has tat law lahz. Mani other countries oso have it right? LIke the US and stuff, all of them have a age limit for those kind of p0rn shows de ma.

i believe u mean R21 izit... R21 mean there r violence or sexual contain in the movie... but as yugi_J_J is saying **** movie, i have to say **** movie r banned in singapore... those **** movie r illegal de...

Teenagers 16 above can have sex but not all teenagers age 16-21 may want to have sex due to reasons like want to prevent unwanted pregnancy/religious reason etc etc so there is already some social fabric obstruction

But going for movies is a very acceptable activity,so govt think if people think it is a very acceptable activity and more engage in it,they think it will now have a pushing factor to make such teenagers have that bit more influence to cast away their previous inhibitiion thus lead to them engaging in sex.So govt want to put in a additional obstruction thou it may seem obsolete since worst stuff like hardcore **** is so readily available from the net.

but some RA flicks are so mild that some of our average teenagers , before reaching the age of adulthood, have probably already seen more, and done more than what characters in those flicks are exhibiting..... So the irony begins....

well in the eyes of the govt,we are young babies who need to be heavily protected? So you may term it mild but conservative govt officers may not term it as such?

those shown in the cinemas are only "artistic version",show abit of flesh nia (likely show abit of breast nia),so also nothing much to see actually so only those ah peh who do not know how to access the vast internet actually goes for them.
