I nearly become the fourth singaporean to be imprisoned in Malaysia for illegal entry
i am here to warn my fellow singapore citizens that going to Malaysia from now on must be very careful...i nv thought it will happen to me and it did...
i went in Malaysia on last saturday morning. before that i read about how three of our fellow singaporeans kana jailed in JB becos their passport didnt get stamp...and i told myself i must be vigilant... and true enough it did happen...but this time on me! i was quening at the malaysia check point waiting to be processed...there were three malaysian custome officers at the counter...one of them was sitting and stamping...while the other two...were busying giggling and chatting with one another  when it come to my turn...the two officers standing behind still chatting non stop with the guy sitting...after i was handed by passport...i quickly checked and see if everything is duely stamped... but out of my horror...only the white card got stamped...but my passport did not have any....i quickly told my mom...and after she checked every pages and confirmed dont have any stamp...we immediately return to the counter and told that officer my passport was not stamped... that officer...give a "no big deal" kind of look...after looking at my passport...just throw a word "sorry"....stamped...and return my passport...didnt even bother to look at eyes! i was really mad! what if we never read the newspaper or if there was no preceding cases and we happily walked off like that...what will happen!? i will be jailed for no apparent reasons! that ****** up attidudes really pissed me off!! no wonder that country still so laid back! |

yeah fortunately you checked.... I dont even want to think about it if you hadnt. I dont even want to consider if it was done deliberately or accidentally anymore..... because it just seems its too frequently done.

last time me n mum dun check at all.. until there's once they forgot to stamp the passport.. but luckily we jus gave kopi $$ and go off

I think this jail thing is ridiculous ....x-)
If they stiill insist that the jail regulation is to stay than to be fair they should investigate and also fire or jail the stamping officers!! In the same jail cell as the person who the officer failed to stamp!!  I think its their way of structing their negativity/arrogance towads us.... 2an5na0a3ays5a If you include me .....you'll be fifth person...mine was sum time back... if you include others.....maybe you'll be num 500 ++... Who has ever really forgot to check their entry stamp on their passport?? Come on everyone in one way or another has checked the stamp on their passport. Can't blame the government on being to laxs on stamping or not stamping. Its your responsibility as a traveler. Good thing the dude checked.
