My thumbdrive suddenly cannot work, cannot read nor format, and i was about to go buy a new one, cos now it's dirt cheap compared to a few months back.. 2 Gb only $55...

Anyway i tot i just tried to call the customer service and i got tip-top response I never thought i ever would in Singapore.

Firstly, this is not the usual automated call. Instead it's a gentleman who had full knowledge of his product, and with his advice, i downloaded the specific software for this thumbdrive and managed to format it.
prior to that , i told him i did not have the receipt and only had the warranty card with the serial number at the physical product also faded.
In spite of the possibility of being unable to exchange a new one, he maintained that they will first see the condition of the thing and no straight turndown.

it is good to know that there are companies or personnel here in SG itself who care about true customer service... Thats quite impressive actually....

compared to machine operated calls you get in certain companies or even MOE, this is a good example of how humans will win over machines.

good to know that you recieved good customer service from this guy,but well did you do anything after that to ensure this guy get some recognition? Like sending a email to imation praising how you got exellent service from him? I think if he is as good as you said,he is definately worthy of such an action from you.
