Hi guys,

My dad's birthday this Friday. We're planning to go for a seafood dinner... Any good place to recommend? Esp crabs & prawns... Eyy... budget tight too, so any place that's cheap and good??

I have a discount voucher for Long Beach Seafood. Is it expensive? Food good?

Seafood... JUmbo Restaurants, Marina South Seafood BBQ, Family International Buffet, Sakura International Buffet..
Long Beach would table service so most likely price would be quite ex bah... i cant rmb how much was the bill when i last visit the place.

Can try Turf City. They were having a Less 50% promotion the last time I went at end of Sep. Not sure if the promotion still applies.. Lots of stuff. All less 50%

Do you mind travelling to the North? There is this Tze Char restaurant called Ban Leong Wah Hoe ard Upper Thomson area.. its at the same stretch as the relatively famous Casuarina Prata...

Crabs there are cheap and nice... think its less than $30 for 1 crab..

Can try Owen Seafood (Tel 6875-1895) . Cheaper than Ah Yat (Tel 6875-0506).

Works this way. Go into restaurant for seat, then go out to (Unique) Qi Kuai Seafood Market to select seafood. Then go back seat so can tell them how you want your seafood to be cooked.

Plenty of choices there, can check out wht you want to eat.. Fresh off the shelf some more.
