whats with the PSP-1000 thing...was wondering why never state v1.5 or 2.6all those...new to psp

not exactly all shops will sell V1.5 some do carry stocks...

V1.5 cos due to the various purpose e.g. Homebrew softwares... but of cos there is a big difference between a V1.5 & V2.7

Even if its sealed. On ther serial number out on the box will be able to note whether its a Japanese Set or Local Set... even the version can be told. It needs some studying on that.

Althernatively will be opening the sealed box. Go to the firmware option to view the version of firmware loaded in the PSP.

Slowly step by step read the comphrehensive guide they had complied, it will open up your eyes on PSP.

yes you will not have things such as web browser. however you can use firmware emulator such as devhook or MPH firmware launcher to emulate later firmwares

PSP cost 299. But each game cost around 90 dollar. I will but a ninitendo instead.
