Are security cameras commonly installed inside offices these days ?

What will you guys think about your boss if he installs "security" cameras inside the office ? One at each corner that covers the entire work area ..

Ok lah, the cameras downstairs in the warehouse area and the camera outside our main entrance are understandable. But inside the office ?

er.. my office have like cameras in all corners.. even behind my workdesk got one.. lol.. no big deal..

our office dun hv at all

my bosses dun believe on spying on employee's work fr time to time (which is y I can have time to snake into KT at times

)

they believe it is the "trust" that they are providing to all staff

when its mentioned security camera, first thing that come to employee's mind is 'say nicely is to film down any break-in, but the truth is to watch the employee'

think quite common for some companies.. to spot check on employees...

if my company install security cameras... then that i means i cannot surf KT le.. :|

Some areas have. Even pantry area also have one.

So that people won't steal the cookies?

Why put security cams inside office? For me, I think there is no point in doing that unless the boss really want to check his workers that they are not slacking.

I guess its quite common nowadays to find security cameras in every corners of companies. If u not going to do anything illegal in the office nothing to worry abot the cameras pointing at u. Mine company had it installed around the premises, staircase landing, carparks, toilet entrances, pantries.........with so many cameras pointing here n there, there was one incident whereby the cameras couldn't even track a suspicious person entering one of the manager office. Ma Lu >> :D
