How many chances do u htink a gf should give her bf when he breaks his promise?
example: Promised not to gamble. Promised not to smoke. Promise not to drink like a fish. But in the end, keep repeating offences.

the only person u can change is yourself.
other people u can only accept them as they are or hope that they will decide to change on their own. when u love someone u have to see whether u can take them as they are. who is the person u love? sometimes they will change, sometimes they wont... anyway if u love them, do u love them as they are or only when they change to fit your mold?
