TEMASYA BADMINTON PILOT PEN

ACARA SAMPINGAN TAMBAH MERIAH

Oleh
Saparin Rasikin

Most of the points in the article are talking about the programmes held in conjunction with the Pilot Pen Badminton Tournament. It is talking about who will be performing and what kind of events/programmes we can look forward to. Event will begin this sunday at 9a.m. at Bedok sports hall.

In terms of the tournament itself, 44 teams will be participating this year. And those who are taking part are advised to come at 8a.m. to collect their t-shirts.

Badminton enthusiasts can now join in several side events lined up besides just watching the matches.

This is promised by the event holders on this Sunday is the Bedok Sports Hall at 9am.

In conjunction with this event, the Badminton Association has obtained permission from the National Sports Association to set up 10 stalls along the Sports Hall.

These stalls will be selling sports equipment, muslim wear, health product and insurance service.

It aims to liven the atmosphere with their 'family' theme for their 10th yr anniversary celebration.

According to the organiser, they have already obtained permission from(pelawak- not sure wat it means) Hussain Saaban and his three friends Yusoff Bai, Ariff Samsuddin and Shafuddin Mahfudz to entertain the audience.

The organiser will also invite a well-known actor, Jalaluddin Hassan from Malaysia to meet his fans.

" We will not neglect lovers of Traditional Culture as we have already invited the "Cultural Dancers of Yayasan Payung Negeri Riau to perform in this event."

"We believe the events lined up will be able to entertain the participants and audiences, and at the same time liven up the atmosphere of the badminton festival."

"Besides that, 44 teams will participate in this festival, compared to the 34 teams last year"

"We're happy with the increaed number of participants as it shows that this festival is getting more popular", said Abdul Wahab Maidin.

"We also understand that these teams have already practised very hard- this will be a very competitive competition."

It is requested that the participating teams will reach the event place at 8 in the morning to get the shirt.

The Minster of Environment, Dr Yaacob Ibrahim will be the guest of honour of this event.
