Juz c a paper clipping on today Straits tat some of the SG guys r selling their so called status for amount from $3k to $5k to oversea gals such tat they dun need special visa for extension of their stay in SG. Most of the gals r belong to those sex trade. It is sort of buz exchange where the gals juz paid for their stay in SG. Wat do u ppl feel abt tis matter??

Btw, juz in case some crazy guys or ppl might wan to earn some money from above 'buz'. It is illegal in SG and 7 ppl hv been jailed.

i just feel that it is very evil and sinful to earn money related to sex industry.

the points i can think of:

1. it is very sad for a woman to get into this kind of trade, still go exploit them.

2. the industry can temp ppl to indulge in lust

3. can spread sex diseases to the person and family and even pregnant woman can unknowingly get it thus the baby will be born with serious health defect

4.break up family

and i think still got other which i can't think of now.

i hear you my friend. such is the general climate in the world today that the little people are forced to look for various means of survival. however when faced with adversities, i dare say that most people would go take the wrong path as it offers a faster route to the good stuff.

the wrong path is just like taking steroids. it enhances your performance but you do not learn anything in the process as something else is doing all the work for you. you will need more and more of this steroid as time goes by and once you stop using it, everything will fall with one big THUD.

i hope all my friends here in KT will rise to the challenge the proper manner when faced with adversities and not be like those guys in the papers as some day, it'd all come back to you.

In the report it states most do not require their wifes to consumate with them and most of them are executives. I guess they just wanna make some additional cash for staying single. Some even have terms like they only like to stay married for two years or so. After which, they would find another to earn the 3-5k again.

True but for them to earn some additional cash as some mentioned they werent even wanting to get married. but tat is just so selfish

It says yes/okay as mention in the article last time get married to buy hdb, nvm. no harm done.
but NO as tis current issue will be creating a social problems when more Pros are let in.
