My German friend is coming to Singapore next Feb, and she asked for Chinese opera....any good and cheap places to catch such?

Are there any evening stages post CNY that has chinese opera?

hehe~~ i dont know wors. Llook out for brochures at NAFA??? Or tune in to ARTS central to see if got any chinese operas going on?? How about hte newspapers???

too bad, ur fren not coming during ghost fest. =X

hmm i from chinese opera cca in school... i suggest u call up COI... chinese opera insitute to find some places... basically she come wrong time la... shld in the 7th month come ma

think china town got one. dun know where is it just hear ppl say one. or ask ur fren sat afternoon see art central loh coz chinese oprea loh.

Occassionally they stage chinese opera performances in Pulau Ubin. However, I'm not sure of the schedule.

i am not sure whether the old theatre over at chinatown has it or not.. but they do have show performances over there.. but not sure what type... it's near blk 333 kreta ayer.. walk down abit.
