I booked the ticket tt day and though it cost only $0.49 to go there, but the return expensive $3000 baht maybe due to its on tue.. so add up ard $120+, however it cost only $86++ return plus taxes to travel if you return on the other day :|

u should have just book the leaving with airasia for $0.49 and return from tigher airways at $40. like that still cheaper but zuji giving $49 return with airasia and hotel stay 1 night. i think this one cheaper but for period from 23 - 29 sep only.

Got another even cheaper way, should book $0.49 to bangkok and book $1 trip back to singapore...plus the taxes and everything, only need $20++ :cry1:

btw, all these seats are first come first serve, got to fight for them, not assign seats - like free seating.

anyway, later part of the year like november, will still have cheap tix to phuket but this place very dangerous cause a lot of ang mohs.

Ang Mohs are dangerous? Whooeee. Care to explain? Maybe you had a run-in with them before? In my experience, most ang mohs are so civilised and cultured, maybe the ones I met were more of a sophisticated and aristocratic class and travel mostly on First Class. Maybe the ones you have in mind are the beach bums that frequent the Phuket bars and are rowdy and noisy. These minority could be a problem especially when they are high on drinks or drugs or a combination of both. Keep well away from them, especially when you have a girl with you. They can be obnoxious, (the ang mohs, not the girl ) so stay clear.



On the whole, ang mohs just like all people have their good as well as their rotten ones. If you meet the nice ones like in the photo, then you will have a nice time, otherwise they can be a pain in the neck.

Do not stress yourself out even before your trip. Just sit back, relax and enjoy yourself. No need to fight for seats. Everyone is ASSURED of a seat because of confirmed booking so not to worry that you will be standing the whole journey like in a bus or MRT train.(HA, funny!)

If you want a special seat just be there early.

Now with the $0.29 cents tickets to Phuket, there will be more rushing for seats. Soon there will a $0.05 cents to Thailand. Imagine: FIVE CENTS!!! Or FREE even as someone here mentioned.

Yah hor, never thought of that, many ang mohs means more risks of terrorist targets. That makes ang mohs dangerous, not because they are obnoxious or rowdy but because of their presence. Darn it. must stay clear of ang mohs from now on.

be there early oso no use leh...... at gateway, pple queue liao! of course, there are oso pple who prefer to sit with their own family members tt's y there's a "fight" for entry at gateway lor!

but somehow, I just dun understand why numbered seats so difficult meh?? this will ease problem at gateway and avoid unnecessary "accidents" (pushing and running)
