Default Botanical Garden with a different perspective

Not my best area of photocopier, but just two shots of a different view of what everybody has of Botanical Gardens. Critiques & comments welcome.

I like the 1st pic
But the 2nd pic, too many white dots (space in btw the leaves) makes it irritating to the eyes. Ermm, my personal views lah. Please dun get offended

i love the 1st one...all the greenery with a sanctum for the dead and dying...keke

but ah the second one ah...no focus pt..the eye roves over the entire pic before settling on the branch... den ah become no omph...

However, i believe all my comments are amateur cos i dun think i can even take pics like these

Thanks lyk13,

jnifur: thanks for the comments, apparently, the bokeh on the 2nd shot turned off a few people.. sigh will becareful whilst shooting wide open again.

alantis: It's ok, I will bear in mind the fault that causes people to not like a pic, or find it no ooomph, guess I was trying to distinct the subject from the background too much and caused this thanks for pointing it out.
