yes. i believe in it. we bring into this life whatever we reaped or sowed in another life. karma gained and lost are also brought over in this life. hence everyone's lot in life is different.

anyway, i read in a book before that a man was reincarnated into his niece, and the sister of the dead man believed she was him cos she has the same markings (moles, scars and stuff like that) as her dead uncle. and she kept talking about things that only her uncle would have known. that got me thinking for a while....

i am not a buddist but according to my buddist friend...
there are 6 realms after death...
first is the heavenly realm...
second is the human realm...
third is the animal realm...
fourth is the hungry ghost realm
fifth is the jealousy ghost realm...
n lastly is HELL...
and karma infuences the realm we will go to after we dies...
so previously in our lifetimes we must have accumulate enough good karma to be a human in this lifetime...
SO everybody we must do more good things in this lifetime to become a human again in our next lifetime....

Reincarnation is still a debated topic among parapsychologists since there are cases that seem unexplained, but some may be due to coincidence. There was a documentary about reincarnation on Discovery a few weeks back. We may not need to assume the existence of soul to account for cases that seem to suggest reincarnation, maybe there are other wasy for a child to pick up the memories of those who died. Maybe minds exist outside of the body, and brain is just a tuning receiver to this vast body of mind, in which different frequency tuned to different mind. So if we could tune into other mind, what will that be like? Will it be like logging off and change a user? :D

A story for every1 1st:
A five yr old British gal say that she remember her "other father and mother" and can vividly talk about an event she nv went thru...as in a life of another person. Parapsychologist were called in and asked this little gal more than hundreds of questions,to which she gave answer. She spoke of living in a particular village in spain and she gave the street name and the village she llived in,her neighbour and the detail of her everyday in the past. she spoke tearfully that she died in an car accident and when all the details are compiled, investigation began.It was shock that all the details were correct; the village and the girl's previous name and her home that she described and the neighbour she mentioned. whatsmore that there was really the accident and the girl really involved in the accident.Just imagine how would a girl from England can know the things from Spain?

there was psychitrist who hypotise his patient and his patient saw himself in his past life before his death... he saw that he was actually fallen off from a cliff...this was adapted from a documentary show of Guo Liang when he is in Mediacorp..the show"yi du kong jian"... it's also said that you can remember your past life thru consistant and deep meditation...

What you say may be correct...but some of them may be curious to find out what they are before this birth...not every1 of us will want and will not want trace back the past,should there be a past life and recarnation is involved. ;)

I think depends on one's belief!
For me as a free-thinker, i wish to say i dun believe yet i did encounter b4 strange things which made me felt weird.. :eek:
There is one occassion tat i heard a woman's crying yet i can't c anything arn which ppl usual say "souls" maybe :)

regarding reincarnation, I heard many stuff..

Some medium told me that a priincess in another and a lord in another... and another long line of royalty.. then rite now I'm like a nobody in democratic singaopre... funny rite..

Anyway think of this contradiction ok...

Common myths say that children are here to get repaid from their parent cos their parents were indebted to them in the previous life.. So it means that in this life, if you dun own any one favors or money in the last life, you won't have children..

However it's also said that people who did evil in their last life won't have children in this present life..

So therefore people, think about this, dun you find it as a contradiction...

Furthermore i think it's total BS to say that an handicapped person deserved it due to his past life.. I have seen and heard people use reincarnation to put down people who are handicapped or parents who are.. It's rather mean especially parents with down smydrome children/..
