So that means these flats that are unoccupied suddenly got those spooky events and things going on huh? Thats remind me leh, i think somewhere near potong pasir, i got see a block empty, corridors lights still on, but the doors and windows all shutted with wooden planks i think. Is that the same case or its just waiting to be rebuild???

No no.. it was tear down yrs back.. Now condos sitting in place.. as for any incident... not too sure.. now cant go in pass the security... Heard tt there is a secret cemetery there, received an email n pics about it b4. Seems like spooky things happened but the most assurance the town council could give was extra security to those blks tt were affected. Dunno whether true o not too....

hey i stayed woodlands and actually i know abt tis blk went be4 to check it out.
its actually opp a church called "the Rock' and its vacant for 5 yrs and the lifts haf already been stopped. (no longer working) and the stairway had been sealed with the metal grills wic made s impossible to check the blk out.
and the whole blk is vacant but the lights of the corrider is still on to look "normal" as if people are still staying there but if you look carefully , you will know or @2 that actually the windows are all firmly shuted!
or rather if u go to the back of the blk wic is the "hanging clothes " area you will @@ that the whole blk is so damm dark and scary that you will be terrified to even look in to IT!

it will seem normal to people lo and ya...there's also this "people's corner under the blk and people go in the am time but when darkness falls you will see that no one lotier under the empty blk wic makes it abit "scary"

Sorry it's been quite some time n i've deleted the email. But I've noticed those condo-like gates at those blks during my sch time when I went to a nearby netball court for training with my classmates....then some time this yr i received an email about those blks....The pics shown were quite spooky n the ppl who took the pics did not explore the cemetery totally due to the eerieness but strange tt I never noticed the cemetery until the email....maybe those who r staying ard the area n know about those blks can share something

hey guys... i just went to explore this blk 852...... with a fren.... tell you.... the lifts is operating..... so we entered the lifts directly..... pressed 9th floor......

ting! 9th floor..... we explored the 9th floor.... ALL the houses is empty... not renovated.... windows shut tight, doors all closed.... the windows are those tinted glass so can see in loh..... To ensure that there is really no pple living, we take to lift to 5th floor.....

ting! 5th floor..... Again, the houses on fifth floor is the same as the 9th floor... empty... no pple living..... So I concluded that the block really got no pple living in.... tell you guys... go there explore better take lift when you are leaving.... dont't take the stairs or u will end up like me....... haiz....

From 5th floor, I took the stairs down.... wanting to exit the block.... just when i reached the second floor... the most unexpected thing happens.... the stairs are sealed.... we do not know cos we never noticed... and also since the lifts are operating, why the stair are sealed......

Scared... We quickly run to 5th floor....(the lift only operate on 1st, 5th, and 9th floor)... we pressed the lift button for lift... there is one lift on 5th floor then, but no matter how hard we press the button, the lift never open... HELP!!!! another false alarm... I think the button is spoilt loh, cos the lift door open when i pressed the other lift's button....

After all... it is a fun experience loh..... go and check it out if you guys got time!!!!

the lifts stop only on 3 flrs so most likely it's those old style cant see thru type lor....but so spooky....i m also wondering y r the lifts operating? since the blk is not in use, wouldnt it have been more convenient for the town council to just shut down the whole blk's electricity, which would then incl the lift's power supply as well?....but really if it was me, I probably wouldnt dare go unless a whole group of frenz was with me....bravos to ur courage!

really major blooper...

i went wif 2 of my frens on fri nite...ard 10plus..
when we got dey...everything was as if normal..lights were on...even the lifts seem to b working..cos got lights on on the indicator tab...

but...find out that lifts cant use...doors cant open...n dey forever stuck on the saem floor..

so we walk ard the blk..dink mayb can go up by stairs...

Actually that time I go explore this block, all the doors of the house can be open one loh.... they are unloked... u know la.... the metal door.... but the wooden door is lock loh... I tried to push it real hard also cannot open.....

firey, the lifts got indicator but cannot use? I that time go I use really can leh.... did you try all the lifts..... cos I know I lift the lift button is spoilt....

The stairscase are blocked by those metal railings of ur hose door loh.... but that time i went only the second storey of the stairs are blocked lei.....

For the blocking of the stairscase, maybe I and firey are refering to different stairs, u all know la.... One flat usually have 3 stairscases, I only checked one, which is the one i used to go down from level 5 to level 2.... I know the stairs at the lifts there are also blocked at level 2, and i am not very sure got the 3rd stairs or not la....

here is my side of story...
Last year ard July... i was workin in sales lines those door to door sales 1... so tat evening we went down to woodlands to work.. so each of us were given 1 block each..
my guy colleague kana tat blk.. he didnt noe anythin abt tat blk so as normal he press the lift, n the lift is working, so he pressed the 9th floor cuz we knock doors from the highest level n go down 1 ma...
when he reach the 9th floor, he climb up the stairs to the highest level and start to knock the 1st door.. but of cuz nobody open for him and he feel something amiss wondering y tis blk all the hse so dark 1.. then he approach 2nd door, also no respond then he peek throu the windows.. total darkness..
then he go down 1 floor n look ard n find tat all the hse also dark dark 1.. he start to feel scare liao.. so he quickly run down to 9th floor n press the lift to get out of the blk..
but he waited very long, the lifts indicator still stuck at 1st floor.. it wouldnt come up 1... he start to feel very very scare liao n he run down all the way and find out tat 2nd floor got metal grills locked liao... he cant get out... then eventually he called another colleague, who press the lift from ground floor n came up to 5th floor to get him down...
Then all of us went to the back of the blk n look up... all the hses r dark.. really very scary.. he told me feel like Residents Evil... haha! Lucky i am not given tat blk ... or else i will faint inside....
But one of my fren who stays few blks away told me tat b4 tat got some foreign workers staying there 1... then dunno y they move out n left vacant now..

Conducting sales in day time no pple 1 wor cuz most of the ppl working.. only housewives and maids at home, ard evening time then most ppl come back liao ma..

the blocks are still there, just beside the church. can even see the blocks when you take mrt from admiralty to woodlands.

its no different from any other block, except that you cant go up as there are grills at the stairwell. corridor lights on at night etc. been there before, cause last time i live and school nearby so just wander around.

my friends who live at the next block have reported those sightings. like white cloth flying around. in fact once i seen one of the units with lights on at night. but we all know the place is locked.

actually it is not advisable to go visit the place la. the old residents know the spirits is actually quite fierce. this is told to me by the same aunty who tell me the history of the place. her neighbour was one of the unlucky ones who had their house visited by unwanted guests.

got any more qn can ask here. i live there last time so know quite alot. the ghost stories is quite well known among the students there la. coz that place is actually not very clean.

erm... i lived near there for 20+ years. those 3 block of of HDB were those two storey per apartment type. sale was not good and once in a while can see playful students hanging out there since it was quite ulu. the void deck were vandalised and dirty, that's why nobody want to buy an apartment there after some time.

many years back, HDB sold those 3 blocks to a private developer and they were converted to a condo called "evergreen". only 1 block + swimming pool + tennis court + carpark were new, the rest of the apartment block were "recycled" from the old building.

I have lived in woodlands my whole life(lols..i am 16)
I lived quite near the block and from my house, i can see the block quite clearly
my mum say that block is meant for the foreign workers at first
then, some time later, the govt changed labour law..
the foreign workers are unable to live there anymore, so kena chased out.
Then, coz the block is designed for workers, they cannot sell juz like tt...
and since it is still functional, so they did not tear it down..
heard from my bro that recently, they have some renovation going on, converting to 2-room flats for sale...

erm..the reason why they left the block lights on is not to waste electricity, but bcoz imagine a block of flat pitch black in housing estate? what would residents think?
