"New Nokia 6600 will be announced on monday
I've heard rumors from couple of different reliable sources that Nokia will announce a new handset (6600) on monday. It's supposed to be the successor to 7650.

Here's what is known so far about the 6600:

- 65,000 colour screen
- better integrated camera with videorecording
- MMC memory cards
- standard candybar keypad (no sliding or circular keypad)
- physically smaller than 3650/7650/N-Gage
- similar in looks to the Siemens SX1

Nokia made a real effort to keep a pretty tight lid on this one and made sure that no information leaked out.

between 3650 and D 700, i think the difference is the bluetooth and the size...... quite a letdown if without bluetooth..

now that they have this 65k screen, wish they would release in the near future small phones with this screen like 6100 size. some features on the 6600 i do not use on my day to day life. if i did my operator would charge me at a higher price for this services they offer. so looking forward to smaller 65k phone with basic feature so that it would not be very expensive:D

Smaller than P800 and thinner by a bit. Haiz.. they have to squeeze all those stuff on 3650 and 7650 into somewhere right? .. Its smaller than both the current symbian phones with all the features and a little more. What more can you ask for?..

Users demanded a high end phone with 65k TFT screen with super poly tunes(wav tones in short..hehe) .. and Nokia delivers.. Still complain ah?.. :rolleyes: :D

i tink the N6600 looks quite okay leh... but it ain't light tat's one thing... :)

6600's design is really good. I never doubt that Nokia has a chio design on most of their phones. Though the weigh is quite heavy, it include many new features and include a memory card slot.

I don't think it will be too expensive!! Hmm... if u compare the features, it's almost the same as 3650 and 7650, just the size smaller....

By the time this phone launch, the price of 3650 will drop much further, and the new phone will take the launch price of 3650 i guess... Probably $800++

It's just like computers... You might probably paid about $2000 for a PentionIII system in the beginning... and when the PentiumIV came out, dun't think u need to pay $4000 right??!.... LOL...
