You can try the Meridian hotel ermz... there is a famous Korean stall the rest mostly Thai food there you can get really good Korean food for about 6 bucks. The chicken, etc is really good also the bimimbab. Go try take care and cheers.

If u have the craving for korean food, wld recommend Ogi restaurant at chinatown (mosque st). Very authentic food and service is superb! The friendly korean waitress personally prepared the food for us cos there are some which we dunno how to eat! Btw, this restaurant has been recommended by food critics as well. Can reach the restaurant at 62210830 if u wanna check out the menu & prices. :)

Eh. Can I know the price roughly?? I'm starting to miss the authentic Korean BBQ that I had in Korea during winter. :( The taste still lingers. I've tried the stall at Le Meridien Hotel's foodcourt. Though it's one of the best by far, it's still not the same.

I've been surfing online and came across a food website and it recommended Se Ra Bel Korean Restaurant (http://www.food-entertainment.com.sg/company/?companyId=2834) located at Furama Hotel. Has anyone tried it??

Can anyone tell me more about Ju Shin Jung Korean BBQ as well?? I just saw pictures of the place and it TOTALLY REMINDS me of Korea right now.... :( I'm hoping to eat something similar before I leave for overseas studies in September cos I think it's even harder to find Asian food there. :(

A few places I know of:
1. One around Telok Ayer Street, if I remember correctly. Never tried the food there personally but always wanted to.
2. Korean BBQ along Pasir Panjang Road (next to No Signboard Restaurant), opposite Haw Par Villa. It's near my workplace, and I've been there once before...really good, but rather costly...more worth it if u go in a group.
3. Upper Thomson Road, it's in the same stretch as UOB bank branch, went there with a friend...fwah...pretty decent meal. :D

i would say the one at pasir panjang is really good
we spent around $70 for two person including a soup, two servings of bbq dish and so many side dishes that we couldn't finish.

the side dishes are free as long as u order two or more servings of bbq dish. there are more than 10 side dishes - three salads, pancakes, kimchi, tow gay etc. the side dishes serving are BIG. the salads are full size ones, just like those u order at coffee bean or starbucks (size-wise). good value for money and authentic korean food

as the above is my personal experience coz only tried crystal jade and the korean place at specialist centre. the specialist centre one is also authentic but a little pricey for me. their kimchi soup is to die for =D

There is one at Excelsior Hotel, I know not the name.
But its VERY good, and very authentic. You often find Koreans dining there as well.

About $29.00 per person for dinner buffet.

should Arburiya at robinson quay or at holland v. the food there rocks.

another alternative would be Gyu Kaku at chijmes or UE square.
