Hi, chris, i carry most acer brand and compaq.....most of the acer models are 4 hrs i think. if 6-8 hrs that have to compromise on the weight and specs. So ur sis and u still deciding which model to get?? :)

haha, i have a few friends using the acer 5500 series. I would say its quite a gd laptop in terms of specs and value. Maybe you can tell me wats hindering you in getting the 5500 laptop? I will do my very best to help you solve ur problem.
