I order a bowl of curry chicken rice wor... can u believe that their curry is actually water??? Then hor... another worst one... by jaston... waited for just a bowl of plain rice which took about 15min... pengZ...

firstly, poor service....i ordered a bowl of porridge and it took like 30 mins to arrive....
and the porridege taste so bland and watery....i had to add soya sauce and chilli paste before i can down the porridge.....can u imagine how bad it taste for a person to add chilli???

then the bill also take some time to arrive and the waitress neber even apologise....

i really regretted stepping into that damn restaurant....make me spend $6 to torture myself!!!

and that's 1 yr plus..

last fri, went to swensen's at parkway... went there for the freeflow ice cream at $6.99++... b4 we went in, we told the waitress we were there for that deal. we were shown to our seats...

when we sat down there were menus on the table... then nobody entertained us. then we asked a waitress over, and told her we were there for the 6.99 deal... asked her if the ice creams listed in the menu were free flow. coz we din noe how it works ma... so we asked dat question. surprisingly, the lady answered 'yes'. so we placed our orders happily.

wen we finished our ice cream, we requested for a refill. they said our kind of ice cream is not free flow... we told them we were there for the 6.99 deal. they said ok, but our ice cream is not for the deal... we toked to so many of the staff there, den even asked the mgr... the mgr asked who told us the ice cream were free flow, and juz let the waitress tok to us and she walked away.

so... the waitress denied everything... and walked away happily. why would we go for an ice cream 'buffet' and have side orders of an ice cream each? so disappointed with them. not even a word of apology for the misunderstanding. denial was their defence... in the end, we paid for our individual ice creams, and stupid service charge. to tink we mentioned we were there for free flow ice cream in the beginning, and when placing orders....

really had a bad experience there... waste my money. and the ice cream didnt taste good at all. i'll rather have a few more of macdonals' ice cream cones...

even the table beside us who came in later got their food earlier...
and their rice for the baked rice is not fully cooked...

my bf and i were there, took 5 mins to give us the menu (restaurant not even half filled at that time) :mad:
every table was supposed to have a candle lighted ?
the other table has a family of 4, then the candle was lighted.
ours wasn't even lighted till bill came... blah.

then another 10 mins to serve us ice water, one of the glasses (mine) was chipped. i was pretty skeptical whether i swallowed any glass..:eek13:
the waiter that served us mah jiam ah beng. never mind..
the food FINALLY came after 15 mins, we ordered fish n chips (me) and steak (my bf)
the fish isn't that fresh , my bf said the food isn't value for money
(whole bill costs more than S$50+) and then the only comfort is the dessert :eek7:

well well,
usually i'm a fan of swensen's baked rice (even deem it as the zhao pai cai of the place), but tis particular branch i went to @ toa payoh,
left me feeling extremely disappointed. :|

firstly, the serving is like, one scoop using the spoon and you hit the base of the plate... i finished the whole plate in less than 5 minutes i think

and then the whole thing was awfully bland.. the cheese was haphazardly sprinkled over the rice, and not rich enough at all ;(

the standard is even worse than those swensens tat can be found in food courts (like the one in J8 last time)

verdict: appalling, dun even bother to try. =p

Discovered this row of shophouses opposite bugis junction with plenty of eateries, wanted to try this Steamboat buffet, the shop was empty but when my gf n I went in they said they were fully booked. Gave us the name card n ask us book table next time.

Called this time to book table for 2, fella who picked up the phone super rude, the day went to the place to eat they took like 10 mins to confirm our booking, food lousy, variety not as much as it seems..... Worst of all, we discovered that they reject those ppl who onli wan 2 seats but accept walk in customers in grps of 3-4 :mad: Paid like $15.80 per pax for lousy service n food.......never go there again man, and wun recommend anyone to go there either.

indeed... their food doesn't really taste that marvellous as what the waitress said. Plus the waitress has got really long fingernails.

I went yesterday with hubby and daughter. This waitress started to introduce us their christmas set - talking how nice the food is & how the chef prepared it. Hubby ordered one set (both of us share one) but didn't ask for the price. Their food doesn't really taste good - i think more flour than ingredients. I got a big shock when it comes to billing... a total of $102.26!!!

Here to blacklist a buffet shop at East Coast Park.
There is only one shop over there having bbq steamboat buffet so should be easy to notice.

There are not much choices of food and drinks.. somemore very ex too.

Example, Chilie sauce finish already ask a waiter to refill it stand next to it for 10 mins still haven't refill... very fed up liao then go back without taking any chilies.
Service cannot make it.

Other thing is cannot pay by NETS or credit card and only cash. have to go to the ATM to draw $ to pay for the food.

My gf and I have blacklisted that shop liao.. :mad:

I;m aware that sakae may be one of the common sushi bar alround town however I find that their service totally suck. Bad service branches are : Heeren, Borders, Toa Payoh...

I especially hate the F&B manager at the Borders Branch, he's so arrogant and such. We went to a totally empty resturant and we were refused to have the booth initally..

(I know many of you guys/gals will what's the big deal.. well my friend've got a bad back and sitting on those tall wooden chairs is quite straining) :zz:

So, being rather pissed and knowing those places for sushi. We decided to leave.. Then the manager said we can have the sofa booth, but gave us the condition of only available for 1h and half. :confused:

Ok.. fine that's that..
After a while two rather hot girls came and asked for the booth too..
And guess what.. They got it, no questions asked.. :argh: :

Moral of story:
F&B manager is a horny and rude #&$*head.

Since then my group boycott Sakae and settle for Kushin Bo. :p

hmm the manager refuse to give u seat bcos u might have enter their restuarant at their so call "peak hr" loh be it lunch or dinner--- diff restuarant have diff timing for their peak hr.... and as for u r only allowed to sit for 1 & a 1/2 hr is usually cause by ppl who go there and eat and stay there for so freaking damm long and refuse to leave even thou they had their fill.....they 2 hot gals its either their so call expected peak hr had failed them so they let the 2 hot gal to have the booth sit.....or its either they made a reservation or its like wat u say the manager sux loh....... used to worked in a sushi restuarant(there r many things u guys dunno bout the operation stuffs......hope u guys understand....try to put urself in their shoes---- juz my 2 cents

Have to agree the service at Crown Prince Swensen's totally cannot make it.

Went there quite sometime back. When we wanted to ask for a waiter/waitress, there is none in sight. Whole restaurant so big how can there be no waiter/waitress at all. When we asked about it, the manager said that he called all the waiters & waitresses for briefing. How can any manager leave the whole restaurant without any waiters & waitresses for more than 20 minutes. So I complained and the manager himself said that I'm a very nasty customer. :mad: Totally pissed off with the service over there.

Went there to have dinner with some friends. Went in quite late and we ordered baked rice. The food came and we took our time to eat. They were closing and the waiters were so rude that they were saying that can't we eat faster and were grumbling in front of me. Lousy service.

I was a waitress myself. Even if you are unhappy with the customers, you should not complain about the customers out right. If you dont have the right attitude, don't be one.

I have to report this, Seoul Gdn at Bugis. Went for weekend lunch and we were overcharged by around $5... Actually didn't know about overcharging cos the cashier just press press here press press there so i tot correct. Den when inside, the waitress showed us out seats which was those for 4 ppl one. But the crappy thing was the other table ppl were like spilling over...they were like squeezed in their little corner and crossing over to the table, was pissed with the arrangement so asked for another table. totally the same. For those who r familiar wif the SG there, they have those 6 seater long tables at the end of the rest. Asked for the seats there, and she said "FULL". yah rite full of air maybe. The waitress then started to complain, mumbling tt i very ma fan... that pissed me off... I walked up to her, got her name and asked for the outlet manager, made a big hoo ha there(bad mood tt day). Hmm... seems like swensens is taking a big hit here... Personally, I just dined in swensens in Bugis for lunch with my colleagues, it was ok leh, the staff were pleasant and smile when you look at them, and even it was peak lunch hour, they were very willing to accommodate and were very attentive to the customers' needs, I was observing how they were working you see ;)

Guess finally 1 point for them? ;)

#B13-15 EAST COAST RECREATION CENTRE Singapore 449876

Went there, nobody at all. Tot ok, seems like ok place. Then ordered few dishes. Last dish that came out was BEEF. Wah terribly over-cooked, and HARD!!

Then told that fella (an old fella), "eh your beef too overcooked, so hard how to eat?" He looked at me, "SO?! What you want me to do?" Wah liew, straight away pissed off!!! Then told him, "can you do something r not?" U know WTF he said? "I bring back and cook again." ***, won't that be harder? FCukz

Then ask him to get mgr over. Mgr came over, dun even wanna listen, bring the plate away. TMD!!!

After that I went over, and tell him. I dun wan liao.. void that dish. He LL.. SUCKS!! HIGHLY UNRECOMMENDED FOR THAT ******* ATTITUDE...

2. ANother place.. Yam Cha...

The advertisement is good. The marketing did a beautiful facade for the restaurant. But the service ... REALLY BAD.. SLOW... UNRESPONSIVE... PRETEND DIN HEAR...

We went there to place order and a man standing at the ta bao area with black, oily hair took our orders. We stood there to wait for our takeaways but guess what we saw? went billy bomber at JP yesterday... service v slow.. and... i order set, add $3 to upgrade coke to cookies n cream milkshake.. usually milkshake give glass and the metal container hor... they gave me the metal container which is LESS THAN HALF FULL.. nb.. ask the person he say according to weight, set menu upgrade gets 400g... wtfwtfwtf... $3 extra give me tis type of crap. den ask for melted cheese on the side.. never appear and try to charge me in the bill summore....

That time swensen's got this promo where 5 scoops icecream i think only $1.60 w GST... then i and my friend saw the ad online and the ad i think put say the ad end until september end.... that time was end of july...

So i went to eat... first time a lot of ppl nvm(understandable), then 2nd time went to eat hor, eat icecream liao my blood boil man...

went to swensen's at jp, coz that time see online swensen's promo end at sept ma, so my bf and i went to eat, tell the person for 2 ppl liao then we sit down and order...

eat the icecream finish ask for bill, i see the bill is $8.60 if nv remember wrongly...
i ask the sales person tot got promo, they say they change the promo liao... and yet they nv inform the customer... change the promo to another one where the background wordings all the same only details change...

obviosly trying to mislead customer... i told manager that the staff nv inform me that promo over, then ask if can gimme the discount price, she say cannot....

As though their icecream beri nice like that, if not for the discount i then won't go there... the manager still gimme face to see...

After much bargaining with them, the manager finally waive off the service charge, but its still so ex... from then on, i condemn all swensen's liao...

SAying about sakae sushi .. i got really bad services today.. only today.. all other are very good.. I like Bugis services.. I today went to Heeren Sakae and waited my Salmon Don for 1hour.. we was rushing for a movie .. and when i waited for about 30mins. i already ask the staff to check is my salmon don coming? he will check it for me. after 5 mins. i got fared up and my friend ask the staff." Hi, hows the check of our food, we waitd a long time." btw, my friend order steam egg. and the staff obviously din not check for us. and he say he check it now. He say it is coming.. somemore is all set dinner and all people in the resturant is eating all the same thing !! there is at least abt 7 waiters...... wondering why the service so lousy....

the waiters damm blur also.. serve the dish without the fork and spoon, expect us to eat with our own bare hand ?? :angry:

everyone is complaining... some even ask for refund and left half way without finishing the set dinner..

worse thing is they nearly lost our credit card during billing !!!

1) raw salmon - still okie.. serve quite fast
2) Mushroom soup - 20mins of waiting
3) Chicken - 30 mins of waiting
4) ice cream + muffin - 30 mins of waiting

I went to the sakae sushi at parkway parade with my gf. The food there sucks. Esp the cha soba. Although the noodles are meant to be cold but i don't expect it to be coated with ice. It is obvious that the noodles are taken out from the freezer. I wonder when was it cooked as it tastes a little old and weird. Luckily i have a strong stomach :) anyway i just took a bit of it. I have nv been there at parkway parade.. but u can try Bugis Sakae. I have been there many times and went to most of the outlet and i think Bugis sakae is the best.. the food is serve accrodingly to expectation. Quite sad to hear that your noodles is like freezing.. haha..

Cos Everytime i eat, the egg is like watery watery like that, so i ask the waiter why the egg was like that and the good thing is that he replaced it but told me after that that i should highlight how the egg should be cooked.. hmm... what u guys think ?

Maybe that day they had more leftovers? I don't know but my dear always eat cha soba at sakae sushi, I can't taste the different between the parkway branch and the others, no ice too.

Dunno their time meter spolit or what, I was trying to use student pass, the waiter tell me now is 16.05 le, over le have to charge lunch price, whereesle my watch still have five min towards four. They tell me they go according to their time at the cashier. Then never mind, one of my frenz haven reach so we decided to wait for her bf go in, then never notice the lunch price till what time, shortly after my frenz reach go in, find it so expensive, then they tell me is dinner time already, my watch still haven reach 16.30, but the damn cashier time ten min faster what...

Pasta fresca @ lido...poor service, pasta not al dente(cooked just right to degree of softness)..told the manager, he said that is the chef's style of cooking..but its so tough!order came with wrong sauce base..didnt bother to change..then ask him to re-heat the pasta cos really too hard to eat..he came back n told my friend this"it has been reheated..now its just like chinese mee" !!!...whats wrong with him man!

Tampines Century Square's new Food Junction : Don't ever buy food from the chicken rice stall there, I ate my worst ever chicken rice there. Chicken hard like steel, pork (sao rou) got alot alot alot of fat, rice is hard, in the end still stomachache.

The place wasn't that packed at that time and we have to wait 15 mins! 15 mins! for the drinks to arrive. Waited another 20 mins to get our food! And the frigging waiter missed out one order!

Called to waiter to check it out but never get back to us! Damn pissed!

this so-called restaurant is located near bugis junction ah......it is a steamboat whereby they made use of charcoal at the 7th storey hotel.

frankly, I hrd of this place and even get 2c it "flashed" on tv saying how nice how nice ah......

but after tasting it - I thot likewise le......no big deal afterall!

of course the "marvel" part is - it is on charcoal ah......keeping the fire stable etc etc......

the servings were horrible - we had 4 of us - and the menu indicates 4 to 5 persons ah.....to us lorz....logically, the restaurant shld hv the servings for 5 mahz......anyway, tis was side issue lorz......

we gone thru the list of items indicated on the menu meant for us de........we realised there's some items not there lehz.......and when asked, they said it is oredi there with us ah...........

another thing - the service is horrible - they only pay attn to pple WHO ordered - thereafter, they like bo hiew u le......

and if u dun order something which they propose, the whole makan session - u r literally left alone - at one stage, we hv to get the soup ourselves ah........:faint:

These prata shops always liddat one. i went to the one at kent ridge crescent same thing, this guy saw us but pretended he din! They are all like dat one,very slack,attd one kind. For me, no matter how nice the food is if your svc liddat i'm not ever coming back lor.. no point complaining just stop giving them my business..plus of coz "helping" to "spread the word"!!!
