I was told windchimes cannot anyhow hang at home. According to chinese geomancy, it can only be hang in certain direction or location only else It will lure spirits into your house. Remember those movies when the spirit returns home, the windchimes will ring?

I can verify that! Years back in my previous flat, I used to hang one at my living room window just for the fun of it. More often then not I would feel very uneasy, like some heavy presense around the place. Toss and turn at night and not able to sleep. I took it down a few months later cause the 'ting ting ting ' sound was irritating at times. I had absolutely no idea at that time that its the chime thats causing all the discomfort until I read somewhere that it summons 'things'. Freaks me out whenever I think about it now.. :.( No more chimes for me.
Btw, ever notice that in chinese vampire movies, the priest always uses a bell to lure the vampires. Toaist priests in local chinese furneral rites also uses a bell. One more thing, my friend also told me not to play with my keys and swing them around when returning home at night.
Ting ting ting.......................Watch your back!

I had it once. Sometimes there will be sudden gust of wind that cause it to ring all sudden and it freaks me out.
