Lets share some famous Urban Legends or myths or beliefs we had heard of ... :grin: but do tell everyone where its origin is
like:- The Shears Bridge story......Last time our parents always tell us not to go out too late or alone....if not will get kidnap and kena cut off the head to bury under the bridge.......From what i heard was that for the bridge to be built sucessfully, little kids' heads had to be buried under the bridge.....
Or:- when a person died wearin a red clothling they come back as violent ghost lookin for revenge..... :eek:

u cant conplete 1 round at all with 4 people.....
becos all this is done in the dark.......you probably dun know who is there
this is wat happens.......When A goes to B, B will go to C, then C to D......but when finally D go to A initial position.....there will be no one there for D to contact....but when u make contact n the process goes on....you get the No.5 or E person who is......... :ls:

let me try to revive this thread by adding this.
Some of the urban legends i know of:
1) pointing a finger at the moon - else the moon goddess will cut off our tongue.
2) shinning light into the canopy of trees at night - you dun want to see wats up there...
3) whistling at night - those "things" are attracted to the whistling sound.
4) taking a photo of somebody sleeping - it was said that the soul of the person sleeping will be captured and trapped in the photo. :Orrorr:
5) changing the appearance of the person sleeping ( e.g. drawing things on his face etc) - the soul of the person sleeping will not recognise his body and thus not return to his body.
6) taking a photo of yourself with your car - it was said that if your "time" is up and you have not reported, u might be spotted and taken away immediately.
I think theres somemore but i can't recall most of them at the moment. Anyone has more to add on? :grin:

what about the one which was to slice off the skin of a red apple with a knife and staring into the mirror while doing it in the dark at 12mn. you are supposed to see your future husband/wife... :sweat:

the other one is sleeping with your head pointing at the room door. (correct me if im wrong) because in an operating theater if the patient dies in the process he/she will be wheeled out head first. Otherwise usually his feet first.

on this point, ever wonder when a person is dead, the nurses will always push the head out 1st and not the leg.....any logic explanation on this.

i've been sleepin parallel to the door or sometimes my head is pointin to the door....no wonder i havent been winnin in lottery or lucky draw

on this point, ever wonder when a person is dead, the nurses will always push the head out 1st and not the leg.....any logic explanation on this.
i guess the head contains the most important organ in our body so if the patient is still alive they will not push the patient around head first just incase they knock into the wall and get the patient injured. And also with the patients head close to the nurse, she can monitor the patient closely for any signs of change in medical condition. den as for leg first, i think patient die if u notice they usually tie a tag to identify the patient at the foot. so when nurse pushing the patient ard they can refer to the tag at the foot easily as to where they should place the deceased. otherwise they simply bochup and juz anyhow push they body ard.

During young , heard of tale from my mother about a d tiger woman type who go knock door , you open then her eye can actually bewildered you then actually suck your blood...
Very long never heard of that was me very very young.

it'll b feet first... it is logical... it is not to allow the front people to c the body, especially the face... in case there is any body movement of the body ltr scare the medical personnels... same for stretcher...

cover the criminal with a black bag n lead him up the hangin platform loor.....
then when they pull a lever.....the platform will open a trapdoor loor.....becos the prisoner is standin over that trapdoor with the rope over his neck then he will get hang loor.......
the black bag was said to cover the face so no need to see the prisoner face when he died loor.......

it's just a common practise around the world for the condemn to be hang at dawn before the sun rises.... no particular reason for it :grin:

Eh, first time I heard of it too.
Maybe they lack of executioners and people to execute everyday, so fix one day per week lor. Monday for electric chair, tues for lethal injection, wed for shooting, thurs for gas chamber, fri for hanging. Sats and sun no work for civil servants. hehehe

like when walking pass a park, then suddenly hair stand....

i remembered got one time i walked pass a fitness corner of my sec sch, my hair suddenly stand and there's not wind, some more walked halfway le then stand... i just 'comb' down my hair and carry on... only after that inccident, then i knew 原来如此....

I read somewhere that you can actually practise to see things, with the help of a medium. In this case, the most traditional and easiest-to-obtain object is the crystal ball. According to the article I've read, you must do this until u see something.
1) Darken your room
2) Light some candles for soothing effect (optional though, but good to help u relax)
3) Sit in meditate position with the crystal ball position in front of you
4) Relax your body
5) Stare at the crystal ball with deep concentration.
Must keep trying.. so sort of vary for different people, but if u try hard enough, you will be able to 'see' images in the crystal ball.
Not sure how true, but the thought of sitting without moving makes me want to sleep already..

this one i dunno how true, but it has happened to my friend once..
we were in sch haveing overnight camp, den one of my friend itchy hand, took a photo with his film camera of my another friend sleeping..when the photos are developed, can see alot of orange lines streaking all over the place..
well, cannot photoshop coz it's film camera and it's a point and shoot, so there's no possibility of playing with the shutter for the lighting effect...

hang a magnet over a string n stare at it in a dark room........but not so dark till u cant see the magnet lah........
over time u will see the magnet hav aura........then continue n u see aura over ur frenz........before long u will see things u arent supppose to see....... :nervous:

dun need to really have sumthing behind.. remember when i first moved to this house and wanna go toilet in the night... bcos got mirror outside toilet mah, so i walked passed in the dark, with lights from outside windows, i tort 'someone' staring at me...

cos got lighting from outside, when look into mirror, can see the lights reflection in your eyes mah, so can tell that's eyes.... and look like very fresh, not those sleepy eyes...

Hi!! I went back to flip through more articles. This method of 'seeing' is known as 'Scrying'. You can actually search for this keyword in google. Quite a number of articles on this subject. Anyway, according to the article, apparently, a clear glass of water can be used to replace the crystal ball. A pool of water can do okay too.. Sounds more and more like what witches do.

Good luck if you are trying that out.. but mind dun try for more than 20 mins at first and be patience coz the result may come out only weeks or months of trying.. (according to the article of course).. do share any results

I think some time back, I see articles about couples who like to place mirrors above their beds to see themself.. ahem. Like ta how har?? mirror so big some more.. keke..
