SPI=Singapore Paranormal Investigators
As the seventh Month of the Hungry Ghost draws near, It is appropriate for SPI
to hold a SPI nite to welcome the symbolic arrival of the hungry ghosts.
What better place than the Ten Courts of Hell in Haw Par Villa???
And so SPI now cordinally invites you, both SPI Club members and forum members
alike, to join us in an exciting nite of mystery, exploration and
experimentation.
The details are as follows:
1.)The date is 15th August 2004. The time is 7pm. The entire event will last
till 12 midnight. Transport back to major towns in Singapore will be provided at
$3 per pax.
2.)Meetup at Entrance of Haw Par Villa at 7pm. (car pooling may be arranged)
3.) Only 70 pax will be selected
4.) Each pax will pay $10/- This will be inclusive of a 8-course dinner. (Non
Halal)
5.) Non chinese will be serve with KFC
The programme for the night shall be as follows:-
1.) 7pm to 8pm - Guided Exploration by abductboy around HPV
2.) 8pm to 840pm - Appearance by HPV mgmt and exploration of Graves of Abandoned
Statutes (restricted to general public)
3.) 9pm to 1015pm - 8-course set dinner (Non Halal)
4.) 1020pm to 1040pm - Ritual by Wei Yi (qualified Taoist Priest) with food to
appease the dead
6.) 11pm to 1115pm - Ceremonial opening of Hell's gate and visit to Ten Courts
7.) 1115pm to 1145am - Food tasting experiment - Test to see if food offered to
Ghosts will taste bland (All participants are welcome to try for themselves)
only cakes and pastries will be use so non chinese are welcome to try also.
8.) 0000 - Transport back to major towns in Singapore.
All interested please send me an email at huili@spi.com.sg stating your Actual
Name, Forum Alias, Contact Number and Email. Priority will be given to Club
members.
Payment of $10 must be paid beforehand, and will be informed of payment schedule
upon confirmation of successful selection.
Closing date for all applications is on the 13th August 1200 pm.
SPI reserves the right to select or reject any applicants they deem
inappropriate for this event. Friends of SPI members if they are sign up will be
put on waiting list, depending on response of participant rate
