Usually people say ghosts eat jossstick. Ghosts are actually the person's mind or thinking living on after he is dead. It is a type of radio wave that you can percept sometimes if your brain "tunes" into it. It's how dear u are to the deceased. Although I feel odd too, but then, if I am in similar situations, I will also do the same lor. It's similar to talking to an imaginary friend.

luvhurt: the footprint wise was quite a mystery..but i narrate something that happened to one of my frenz..my frenz family encountered his departed relative return on the 3rd week..he say one of the kids saw the deceased came back and reunited with his father and mother at the alter (the deceased is the uncle of this little kid..the father and mother at the alter was actually the grandpa and grandma of this kid..who is also my frenz grandparent)..the whole family only this kid saw it..and the rest was waching TV at the living room..
the kid was quite scared and cry..she say the uncle was actually wearing the "shou fu" and the grandparent was standing at the alter..there are some other "beings" also at the alter as described by the kid..(my frenz believe it was actually the ancestor)
they stood around the alter glazing at each other and do some talking (the kid can't hear what they were talking)..the rest of the adult stay up with this kid and wanna know what happen..
scary enuff..they walked about the house and look like surveying the house..the kid saw the grandparent at 10pm+ and the uncle came around 11+..the deceased left the house only 3+..by then the whole family was shocked for wat the kid have narrated..

did have some traces of footprints but not certain whether it is my ah gong spirit or not..

With respect to luv hurt's message, his is the first time that I heard someone say "how come got footprints on the floor?" ON this note, I am given the impression that, he DID SEE footprints on the 7th day. That's why I ask if he DID put powder. Cos on normal circumstances, how are u able to 'see' footprints in the first place? This is those shows that show them out nia.....you tell me lar....

And with regards to MY OWN EXPERIENCE, I really experience that hor. On my great-grandma's 7th day, we laid the food well for her, went upstairs sleep very early. At night didn't hear a thing. THe next morning, me and my parents slowly went down to my kitchen, and what we saw was food on the floor, on the table, quite messy lor....and my mum say it's the lizards' doing.

as the joss stick curled up thingy..we all now that it is made from timber log and made into stick like before adding some incense powder..do you know that when you burn a piece of thick timber..the timber will also coil up..does that mean that an apparition appear nearby and eat the timber??

please add some religious or scientific fact toward this section in order not to create fear and duress to other user..

to share an experience.. back in 1997, my dad woke up in the middle of the night. he went out to the toilet and passed by the altar. There, he saw the joss sticks being offered to my grandfather n great grandfather curled up. Totally curled up. Then my dad woke my uncle up and told him to take a look. My mom woke up as well. My dad then prayed to my grandfather and told him that he hoped to strike 4-D. N it indeed happened. Didnt win the first prize but managed to win a few thousand bucks. maybe it's purely coincidence.. i dunno.. but my dad has not won lottery since i was born.. so.. it's up to our own perception towards this matter.. either it's coincidence or my grandfather really heard him...
