Pls send this to anybody u knw schooling in Singapore Poly. My friend's brother took this pic at Singapore Poly. After he developed it, he asked wats da gal doin there. The theater behind is not ready yet, still under renovation. To make it more curious, the theater is locked. See it
closely guyz. It's no camera trick or cut n paste. I've check the photo myself. It is true.....

hahaha ... i also see this ... me frm Singapore Poly ... those uniform they are wearing is called official attire . for students all the year 2 & 3 students have a chance in wearing it. i think tat pic is taken during the grad 2003 rite?

This pic IS taken from Singapore Poly, even though I graduated liao I still can recognise the place. It's at the auditorium there.

Well, like some others say, that is not uniform. It could be our final year project (call Innovex if I'm not wrong?) where every group have to wear in formal attire (white top, black bottom) to take photo for the exhibition.

& I've friends who encountered ghostly experience at one of the lecture theatre there too. Well, SP is haunted. There's no T13 (building no. 13) within the campus. ;)

ok .. this may interest some of you guys... the picture shows the student committee of innovex 2004. went to do some searching

during that time, the audi is going through some final installation of equipment. so if it is really human ... it should be some male workers ...

like wat EAL had said .. there is no T13 in SP instead is T12A and T12 .

You know the stretch of passage just behind THEN computer club or the aircon gym connected to the plaza? Said to be haunted as well. Those old birds should noe lah plaza is a place you can find fights and "pleasure". :p

that time can start to walk there liao...but the building is doing commissioning work..as in checking the air-con, sound system and other things...

Yup This photo is taken at Singapore poly at the newly open Convention Centre with a bridge linking to Dover MRT...Its beside T15 and behind T12...

The student taking the photo are either involved in the innovex or graduation ceremony....I need to walk pass the place everyday to get to my project lab at T12/T15.... :eek:

FYI...pls refer to the past post to check it out...i had clarified the picture liao...and btw...commissioning work means testing out all the mechanical and elecrical facilities of the building to see if any part of it is not working as it should be... ;-)

Ah, the red bridge story. This is more of a story passed through word of mouth than one which can be confirmed factually. The story goes like this:

The red bridge wasn't painted red originally. As many of you might know, red is an 'auspicious' color, but thats beside the point for now. Well, one night, there was this very distressed SP student. Her reasons are unknown to me, but something came over her that night. Something must have been the straw which broke the camel's back. She went up to the red bridge with a rope. Here's an ASCII illustration of the red bridge:

The red bridge is pretty high up, located between 2 blocks in the School of Business of SP, which is up on a pretty steep hill. The bridge was on the 4th - 5th level, add that to the steep valley-like drop down below between both blocks makes it pretty scary. She tied the rope to the railings of the 2nd level (top) of the bridge.

One note: The bridge's 2nd level is open-air, as in there is no shelter.

After tying, off she went. She took the plunge. Then a freaky thing happened. She must have jumped off with a tremendous amount of force, i.e. jumping up before down. Once the rope reached its maximum tautness, the neck just couldn't take the force, and literally split into 2. The head was left tied to the rope, and the body just dropped down to the valley below.

Now I'm pretty sure one could classify that as a gruesome death, and what do spirits who've died a gruesome death do, according to superstition? Yes, return as a vengeful spirit. I don't know who decided to paint the bridge red, but it went through that transformation some time after that incident.

That's it. That's the story of the red bridge. I'm pretty sure the incident happened, I read it in the papers, but the intricate details were passed on to me by word of mouth. Fact or fiction? I'll leave it up to your imagination. :D
