have you encounter those things first..if you haven..that's the best prevention liao.. :)
And I will say dun think of those type of things too much..coz can get hallucination easily if one goes into deep thinking and thus you will end to feel that you saw those things which in fact..you didn't.. ;)

tout I haven seen it too aft doing some researches..but sometime,things doesn't turn out to be what we can think of..a lot of things we still can't use the scientific way of explaination to give ourselves a gd answer...
Different ppls have different beliefs and thus having different views..thus difference arises.. ;)

actually i need to know how it disturb you before i can really help..you can't expect me to give you advise which is not of effective usage on the situation thatyou are experiencing..
it's just like if you are having fever..you can't expect me to give you cough syrup dosage..this is jus quoting an example..hope you dun mind it..

I suppose strong yang can help, to prevent maybe gather at places with lot of ppl, or get ppl with strong yang ard you if you have to move ard eerie places, if not have to built up yang (erm, have to find out how though)

And as for the disturbance, I am wondering what can be done if it is in the dreams? no# 2, what if you feel it when you are sleeping or alone in yr room?

Yep sharp objects only work for pontianak in this case it's the only thing you should worry about the other souls don't do much harm. At least they don't physically harm you unlike what the pontianaks do which is to pull out your....... In any case you are attacked, get something sharp and point at it, it would stay waway in fear and if you are brave you can even charge at it and nail it to a tree that's why it's important to NOT take away any nails on trees you see cause some brave man must have trapped something there

It is important you do not travel in odd numbers because lets say you travl in three, the one in the middle will be possed most likely and avoid corner rooms be it hotel rooms or toilet cubicles

Most of the time ghosts cannot do anything to you if you have a strong believe in a certain religion(that's what we tend to say, there are scientific terms to explain it if you want to hear)

Some people burn talisman, some use holy water to draw a cross on their foreheads, some expel spirits from their rooms by scattering salt all over

He searched everywhere for them but each time he brought the water melons it said it wasn't the right size, in the end, one day when he returned home he found his wife and his two children dead on the floor headless. It was refering to their heads

lots more of these true stories that show how much ways pontianak have to torture us.
