Recently tried to open one jpg file. and it pop uot a error msg saying that the cache size too small and the file cannot open.

Any one got the idea where can I increase the cache limit of the photo editor.

What's the Photo Editor program? U checked the HELP FILE in the prog?

it's the Microsoft Photo Editor.... tried ... but can't find... I used to do once... but forgotten where lor...

yeah... only hugr file can't open and give me the error msg... any idea how i change the cache???

:btw: How huge is the image size? Could it be ur physical memory at that time not allowing it to be opened?

tried already... in the initial... when i didn't free up... 800k cannot open liao... now it can open up to 1.5M... above that.... cannot le.... as mantioned i did once to set the cache higher.... but forgotten where.... i beleive it;s because i did some installation that cause the cache to reset lor..

Any options/settings in the program? Strange lehz....:think: Tried emailing Microsoft Singapore for help? I did that last time when I cannot install Visual Studio .Net and they helped me solve it via phone call.

How about ur temporary files folder? Tried freeing that folder up?

all tried le.... still same... sure have some jpg cannot open one...haiz

Do give MS SG an email, think they will contact u in due time and most likely ur problem will be solved. ;) At least it works for me.

noted with thanks.... i have pass this question to my IT dept guys... told them them to solve this for me..... if they can't... they will email MS for solution....
