not to say i'm a big eater, and i do throw up if i eat too much at one go. but i go for buffet anyway becos i tend to have a variety of food to eat.
but i realise i prefer western/italian food. so i often end up dining at places like Ponderosa or Sizzler.
Ponderosa, marina south's branch or raffles' city lor..
i think for Sizzler is Suntec.

uh-huh.. it is.
if you just go for the salad buffet (potatoes salad, bread, soups, mashed potatoes, cheese slices, diff kinds of vegetables, did i say they also have fried rice ? they even have ice cream, fruits and jelly), i think it's about S$13.90 ++ now ?
you could also order steaks or other western food alongside with the salad buffet :)

I think Genghis Khan at Taka is great. Wide variety of food to choose from. Tasty. But the thing is it's really expensive. You'll feel satisfied after the meal but your heart aches cos your pocket's empty le.
Seoul Garden's also great. I like to go there with friends. :D

I like seoul garden esp. the one in bugis coz they use charcoal instead of gas. dunno if the food tastes nicer, just like the idea of charcoal. hehe...
if u are a meaty person, u can try breeks buffet at marina square. dunno whether they still have it coz i ate it long time ago. me not a veggie person but not a meaty person as well, prefer fish & chicken only, thus i din go breeks buffet again.
i love pizzahut's buffet. too bad it's gone...

i didnt have a good impression of taka genghis khan....
i can recommend this hotel buffet at plaza park royal hotel along beach road... it has sashimi, oysters, local food fare, international stuffs (from thai curries to recently more angmo stuffs, they will keep changing). on sun dinner will be abt 31 per pax including all taxes....so basically it is like 28 ++ to count on.
recently they topped up with this pre-xmas buffet...so went up to 29.80++
seoul gdn always make me thirsty (drink green tea helps to clear)...their meats are not bad...i always go for tom yam chicken. but alot of foods not that fresh lah...and dont like the oil pok pok pok at me.
never been to breeks, but my bro liked it...
my company always like to have blanja treats at Sizzler Toa Payoh....now the sizzler salad bar is so much betta. the first time i went to this branch, i ate so much fr the salad bar until i cant tahan the main course. but i shld say their steaks are not that good. medium done tastes like well done...tough tough. and they put this fried onion on top makes the steak sweet...not very appetizing for me. but the salad bar has got many kinds of mayo-mixed salads like tuna & potato, bacon &potato...got rojak...ice cream, salad greens, cheese/ham slices, soups, fruits, spaghettis etc...like eating a meal....
thanx for all the replies..
Keep this going !! :)

Sakura @ Tampines Safara... International Buffet + Teppankaki... Similar to Genghis Khan. I personally feel that the food is better than GK, especially the salmon is much fresher lor. Price also cheaper...
If I'm not wrong is lunch S$18 (weekday), S$20 (weekend) and dinner S$22 (weekday) and S$24 (weekend)... correct me if I'm wrong.

been to vienna..the food is great......but go during lunch time...the food is fresher....
my colleague says that dinner is expensive and doesn't taste as nice.
hmm....their teppanyaki is not that good though.....go for their buffet dishes instead...
if u wanna go, do remember to make reservations..its always packed!
