hi all! have anyone of u tried the before the steamboat at suntec convention centre there?how is it?better than marina south steamboat?

Huh which steamboat? Got 2 at suntec leh the one at the fountain one, the 'Chong Qing Huo Guo' is much better though the price also higher la :p

the one that im toking abt is at when u step into the entrance of suntec,then u turn right at the corner near the polo ralph store then like got one open space indoor steamboat.hmm..

Ohh that one food quite ok la price norm oso bah i guess but sometimes gota go earlier arboh the queue will be very long :p
If u want better quality, go for the 'chong qing' one at the fountain.....

prices for Chong Qing... i dun work there, just go there often so regular liao, know the manager Donny too.... :) nice place, must try their fish paste....
weekday lunch time = $16+++
weekday dinner = $18+++
weekend lunch $24.90+++

prices for Chong Qing... i dun work there, just go there often so regular liao, know the manager Donny too.... :) nice place, must try their fish paste....

haha well its different mah.... sure its more expensive lor, but i do go there once in a while to pamper myself.... the nice nice fish paste cannot be found in marina wor.... :p

haha.. quite true that they dun have fish paste there...
but the fish paste i like is from Coka restaurant...
Maybe try out one of this day at the Suntec..when i have much money cashflow...
now can only chim chai makan...

WTF...just woke up by frenz...ask me wake up now and prepare go marina eat steamboat... :mad:
I not enough sleep...insomia liao...8+ this morning then sleep....sure tonite cannot enjoy the steamboat 1... :mad:
lucky nv suggest suntec.. if suntec more expensive and i didn't enjoy i even :mad: :mad:

suntec steamboat also not too bad ... the soup is very nice :p they dun know use what special ingredient even if u walk past the resturant u can smell it ..... :p the food is ok like normal steamboat food u eat ;)

i ate de "chong qing guo" steamboat b4. damn ex but erm quite nice. de serving dey gif is friggin small. me & my fwens had to order like almost 10 plates of 金针菇 (coz it's rilly too little) but de spicy soup damn shiok! :rolleyes:

ms is singapore style leh while chong qing is china hot & spicy style leh
during the winter all the men in chong qing will take off their upper clothing den eat the chong qing steamboat in the open....

hmmm hope this helps.... the name is actually 'The Chinese Feast, Chong Qing Hotpot'.... its decorated with alot of chinese ancient thing, alot of those kinda big big chinese masks where we see when theres an opera shop, if u order the buffet style for lunch/dinner, u just have to order from the menu, and the ppl will serve u the dishes, dun have to go take urself.... well to me, its the hot hot soup tats nice, especially after the prawns go in.....

sg got quite a no. of this hotpot shop but u really cannot find 1 tat is nice...some china ger can really make nice hot pot ....
