Ok sorry. I thought you were joking :D
For a first date I think it's much more important to be relaxed and have fun.
But... if you already know the person and really want to make an impression, I agree that nothing beats cooking for her :) But if you are going by recipe, be sure to test it out before the date!

Yup ...quite true ..Gotta take a feeder bus in from Pasir Ris MRT then walk some distance...Unless driving there otherwise its quite a hassle getting there...

Cable car dinner... not bad experience or makan at one fullerton during dinner...
lunch wise...maybe can try the restaurant on top of pan pacific hotel.. no bad when you can see the scenery of the city while makan...
I saw someone mention abt cooking at home...yup I do agree it will impress gals if you know how to cook...you can have even a steamboat lunch if you wanna make it simple for you two...even if you are at home you can make it until very romantic....but washing wise....

aiyah, you don't plan too far ahead, dude
since you're such a roooooomantic guy, i doubt Jenny would want to let you go off... cable car dinner leh!! wah seh!!
okay, back to topic.
what a girl really wants is a sincere heart. it doesn't matter where to dine. what most impt is, she must enjoy his company. personally for me, i prefer to eat at home , even eating at fast food restaurants, i also happy.
i still remember my first date with my bf.. at Burger King :il:

Yup, i agree.
Oh, well i just wanna know where to date.
I don't have GF now and not looking to.
One day i will. For sure i would wanna surprise her by cooking by myself.
But first date dude, will ya ask her to come to ur house for first date?
Haahaha.... I won't ask my first date to eat fast food too.

hmm... okay. my first date with my bf was at Burger King. personally i feel nothing wrong with it. why must first date be dining at a romantic place  ?
i agree with you, since it's first date, it's weird to ask her to go to your house but well, the main idea is to make her as comfortable as possible, isnt it ?
okay, maybe i'm the odd one out that dont mind any place :D
maybe you could opt for places like Marche...or Jack's place (candlelit dinner) or if your wallet allows, go for Pinnacle or just any coffeehouse to eat cheesecake :D
dont worry , dude... you'll find someone soon. just be positive and be cheerful. you can't possibly impress any gals by being gloomy you know ;)
(dont call me dude, im a gal.. call me dudette if you want :p )

Personally it is up to individual..
For me, I think it is alright..
There is nothing wrong...
But if I think that the gals may feel uncomfortable, any dinner would just settle.
even if it is at hawker centre...as long as the gal like it..

agree that you dun necessarily need to bring the girl to super romantic place for first date..as long as the food is nice! and make sure you can sit there for sometime to chat while eating...then should be enjoyable!
you can try Black angus at one fullerton..nice food nice ambience...tony romas suntec..booth seats one..the seats are high so quite cosy...:)

It depends on ur budget really, there is a good french rest at Suntec, the wine and the food is great and still not too expensive, call something Maison, nice atmosphere too. Went there twice already and the boss there is nice....
