Hehe, brief intro about the highly acclaimed Din Tai Fung, brought in by Breadtalk from Taiwan.

Their specialty is their Xiao Long Tang Bao (Yummy!), which is seriously one of the best i have tasted in Singapore, much better than those in Crystal Jade (sorry!). $8.50 for 10, and before you know it, you have inhaled the whole lot! You just keep eating then suddenly the whole lot is gone :D

Other stuff also include steamed dumplings, with prawns, crab meat and other stuff. Their La Mian is also handmade. Must try include their beef broth. OMG, you can really see they "ao" (stew???) the bones till the essence comes out. The soup is so thick and aromatic, just one whiff is enough to make your day. Really worth a visit :Hungry:

Wanna go back there as soon as i saved up enough $$$ again :p

Another thing i forget is, the Q can be quite long. i went on a weekday and waited for about 20 mins, that is how many pple go there.

The staff are Taiwanese, and they also speak very "biao zhun" Chinese. The service is excellent despite the large crowd and there is NO SERVICE CHARGE! So rem to leave a tip yah? :D

A very good dining experience ;)

I've tried the xiao long bao and noodles, nothing spectacular. Not as good as it has claimed. Don't think it's the same as the orginal one in taiwan cos those xiao long bao along the roadside in Taipei is better than the din tai fong in s'pore.
