hmm yeah i think samsung's P400 (which is similar to this LG phone) will launch in the $700-800 range.

anyway, back on topic.. price seems ok, but dunno if this phone got any major bugs? later i drop by the other forums to look-look-see-see..

actually heard from Leety that the UI of LG is actually very user-friendly! however, the only problem i found in this phone (or most of the LG) is the memory size!!!! seems very low, dun know can really save how many tones and pictures, if it require hi-res pictures to turn out good, and video taking can take how many seconds only!!! hhmmm.....
anyway, it is a good phone, looks good, 'sounds' good!!!
will consider buy that on christmas...
as a christmas gift for my gf!!!!

actually heard from Leety that the UI of LG is actually very user-friendly! however, the only problem i found in this phone (or most of the LG) is the memory size!!!! seems very low, dun know can really save how many tones and pictures, if it require hi-res pictures to turn out good, and video taking can take how many seconds only!!! hhmmm.....

8 - 9 secs is for MMS. Standard is 15 secs.

Actually the video recording is cool, much more fun than photos.

Now I won't buy any phone without video-recording feature liao... :laugh:

haha...not sure abt dat, whether they catagorise it asian or non-asian...but i think they will specially in-built some language for some countries lorz..e.g., the indians, i think they will help to install tamil into their phones rite...but still, in sg, no one seem to use chinese sms a lot

I happened to "tried" the phone at a M1 shop. It's a pretty nice phone. SMS - T9 is better than Samsung. It's has chinese support - language display and entry. Maybe the antenna a bit "big & long". Else, quite handy. Taking pics will be a different experience. Got to rotate the lcd. :)

It stated that it has built in flash.. Got chinese also.. Not sure bout the memory size though.. Ask them they also dunno.. But i like the phone.. Nice!

LG is going to make itself known to the handphone market in SG. Its really a good deal if you ask me! The bad part is the memory size is very little about 1 MB. So not very sure how many stuff you can throw into the handphone itself!

not true bcos the screen can b twisted and facing u, furthermore tis design is diff from most hp model so it'll not be so easy to haf notice by others when u r taking the pic, quite interesting :lick: n the price too :drool:

if i'm not wrong, its not possible since LG is using mpeg4 and Nokia older model are still using mpeg3 but LG can playback the video sent from Nokia.

to take a photo, the hp has to be tilted to a weird angle.. a bit hard to take the pictures.. the built in flash has not much effect.. no power.. off it to save power.

For the ringtones, can use .mmf files and midi files.. So u still can get ringtones easily.. For wallpapers and games, i have not yet try..

I tried dling from keeptouch.. But cannot work leh.. wonder why.. :confused:
