If you need both WiFi and bluetooth, go for it. However, be prepared to buy spare batteries. It's essential.

The dimensions of it almost replicates the 1910..very slim. U will be amazed that they packed so many functions into such a small gadget.

yeah, if u surf a lot, be ready to get an extra batt.

If I'm not wrong, all PocketPCs/Windows Mobile PDAs come with replacable batteries.

I think there are exceptions like O2 XDA??? I think this runs on Win Mobile too...but batt is not replaceable.

Yes, iPaq 4150 has removable batt which I think is very convenient. But the batt is also very very very ex...$100++ :(

That's what Palm should learn. Allow user to swap the batteries. Anyway I predict my TungstenT battery will last about few more months :p (Li Ion need to be replaced after certain number of charges).

Godaikyoko's NZ-90 (right?) feature a powerful Sony's InfoLithium battery pack, and apparently their previous SJ series has an opening for the user to replace batteries as well...

O2 xDA doesn't have a user-replacable battery? Interesting.

Lithium Ion batteries usually can go for a few thousand full cycles before becoming totally unusable... my question here is if 5 x separate recharges of 20% (like 80% to 100%, 60% to 80%) will make up one full charge?

No they don't count that way. Once you put the PDA on the cradle and it's charging, considered as one charge cycle (even u put there only for 10 second). Btw NZ90 darn expensive. If I can spend the money, I'll get Tungsten T3 plus bigger SD card (mem stick so expensive) and separated 3 MP digital camera. I'm sure the quality better than NZ 90 :p *it's just a dream!!!!*. :p

I'll go for it ONLY when i NEED WiFi.. so far, see not much use of it.. preferred line surfing.. and bigger screens of 12in and above..

Indeed, if not for the price, it is a power packed yet the slimmest PPC around... :tu:

I've been doing almost overnight charging daily!

My Tungsten T will last around three years only!

Yes that's right. You need a battery replacement after that.

One thing to add about the 4150: I certainly hope that the "yellow screen" problem affects only certain batches, and one of my cousins was one of the unfortuante few who got a pretty bad one. I was playing with his 4150 at a 'normal' viewing angle (slightly tilted upwards such that it's more-or-less parallel to my face) and I noticed that it had this obvious yellow background. I thought he had 'skinned' the interface in such a way until he told me that it's the "yellow screen" problem... For his unit, I had to hold the PDA straight vertically for the white to look white...

Well looks like i'm not alone in advocating for the 2210 against the 4150... ;)

I'm not about to start a comparison topic but personally, an external WIFI card does SEEM to be able to get a better link rather than a built-in. :blushed: (To those wondering, i'm using a trusty old Jornada 568 with a SYMBOL CF WIFI.)

If a newer model and a better processor appeals to you then DO go ahead with your goal in mind.

Taken from iPod forum:

Lithium ion batteries are good for 300-500 charge/discharge cycles. A "charge/discharge" cycle generally consists of an extended charging period, and an extended discharging period. A quick charge, listening for 30 minutes, and charging again, for example, does not constitute a full "charge/discharge cycle", but could rather be considered a portion of one.

Some question to ask abt this HP4150..
1) Is the headphone jack standard?
2) Can install divx codec into ppc?
3) Can read .rm and .rmvb format?
3) How's the batt life?
4) Got hold button like Sony clie?
5) The handwriting one izzit same like palm OS?

The only issue which deters me from buying 4150 is that it's not a dual slot...i really need both slots. So convenient when it comes to file (esp big files) transfers between users.
