Inside the zip files, it there are classes files, just need to rename the extension *.zip to *.jar. For sis applications, inside there should be *.sis file. just extract and then send via BT/ Infra to your hp to install...

Open the zip file..if there are more than 10 files and you see classes files, most likely it is a java file. just rename to *.jar..

If you see inside the zip file, there are *.nfo and *.sis file, do not rename the *.sis file..just need to send the sis file to your hp...

your hp only recognizes *.sis and *.jar files by default...

but mine option and back menu laggy, about the sending i dun think i have that problem, me have fs caller, svcard, smscounter, screensaver, fexplorer, screentaker, total ir remote, bowling, hulk and love diver, also opera.... wah..

hmm..dunno...i remember once my fren transfer the opera to me..then when i wanna open a pic.jpg file in my gallery...it says format not supported...then i go n trace the prob using seleq...open the folder one by one to check..ended up is the opera's prob....then i del. opera..can view the pic liao..

it a bugs for SMS not vibrating, try not use other ringtones than the default one

for SMSing, you can go setting to set your left or right softkey to " New Message" That the fastest way, pls read the manual if you dont understand this point

Just like to check this:

There are complaints that the 6600 auto-restart. Those who encounter this problem, are u using the 32MB MMC that comes with the phone? I have been using a 128MB without probem but when I switch to the 32MB, it gives problem like auto-restarting. Maybe it is the card that is giving the problem. Anyone can confirm?

My set dun have dead pixel...yeah, u r just unlucky...this has reminded me of the dead pixel i have on my new iPaq. When I went to HP for a replacement, they nearly rejected cuz the industry standard for a LCD replacement is 4 dead pixels!!! alamak. Next time, check on the spot lor...the batt is not entirely flat.

Symbian is lyk dat initially...play around with it for a while, and you'll get used to the programme... :rolleyes:

k is right. For java games, all you have to do is to use the Manager that is inherent to the phone. Very convenient one... :D

They are referring to the uninstallation of the games, not the installation. In order to uninstall, all you have to do is go to 'File Manager' in the menu, and click the game you wanna uninstall. Don't use external softwares to uninstall the files.

those ppl got the prob wif the pc suite saying "you must enter a valid name" one...i finally solve liao...
u must install the pc suite 6600 INTO UR C DRIVE!YOUR MAIN HARD DISK...but not other D: or e: or etc....duno y...but i just try this time installing to my C: then it works liao...i enter a valid name then no prob liao.... :)

They are referring to the uninstallation of the games, not the installation. In order to uninstall, all you have to do is go to 'File Manager' in the menu, and click the game you wanna uninstall. Don't use external softwares to uninstall the files.

i was having the same problem also, and the solve to problem is to clear your memory in phone, move those data and program to your MMC, buy bigger one (me using 128mb now) leave your phone something like 3 to 4 Mb, then it will become normal liao.... ;)

Buy from Godai and he will provide 1-to-1 exchange if u managed to find any dead pixels. As for the laggy issues, there are many considerations like the number of programs u install.

I use the website that K given me to convert my .wma files to .mp3 files...cannot play in MP3Player...not only that, it cannot play other files too! :cry: After that, I deleted the whole programme (MP3Player), reinstalled into my phone, and reinstated the songs I had before putting in the file (the one that was converted from .wma to .mp3). Now, it can't even play any songs at all! Haiz...and i put these files in the same folder as MP3Player file...K, got any tips on how to solve this problem? got a question abt installing nage tombraider and flo boarding on 6600... according to the instructions i got to overwrite my MMC 's system folder.. but wont't it overwrite all of the apps that i hav already have installed in it?

and also if i install flo after tombraidere, the latter will also overwrite the former's system folder too....

if yes jus transfer those files in respective folder into the MMC

example.... Copy those Tomb Railer's files in the Apps folder paste & into MMC apps folder

hi, i copied the respective folders into my mmc and the game icon did appears on my menu but i am unable to run the game.. the " app closed" error pops up.... anyone noes why? my phone ram is 4.3mb and using ncp mmc 256mb.
