jus now saw tv channel8 recommanding the taiwan "xiao long bao"... tink the place is "ding feng yuan"... not sure.... anyone noe located at where hah?
really looks yummy leh.... long Q somemor~ :Hungry: anyone tried???

i heard orchard also got one is at the pargon new extension building but dun know is it the one u are toking abt ??

I tried the xiao long bao it's nice n affordable. The soup inside is really tasty.
the service is good and there is no service charge.. it's worth tipping them for the good service :p

How abt the one at seafood juction coffeeshop? Its located at Ang Mo Kio, which is beside the amk courts, and the amk courts is beside amk national library. :grin:

I went Ding Tai Feng in Taiwan..where it was originally from..it was so bland, no soup, thick skin and not nice at all. Not sure abt the one at Paragon. But my cousin went b4 and he say only the xiao long bao nice..other food not nice lor.

Still feel xiao long bao from Crystal Jade the best! And cheap!

Another nice one is at Katong area...opened by the basketball player! Yum

agree with wat u say.. i think crystal jade's xiao long bao is soo much nicer than ding tai feng's..
ding tai feng' dishes more or less similar to crystal jade.. but crystal jade much nicer..

you must be kidding....the staff arent rude, but they are far from attentive....i was surrounded by waitresses but when i tried to get their attention, i couldnt. why? because they were too zoned out. in other words, blur. sorrie ar....the times i went there all liddat...once it was even on a weekday afternoon...super quiet...yet they were so oblivious to the customers' needs.

din tai fung's xiao long bao seems better when the restaurant was less crowded. on a saturday evening, the xiao long bao's skin was hard.....on a weekday afternoon it was pretty good! the vegetable n meat dumplings were good too. n their beef soup was good too! juz that i tink the quality of their food isnt very consistant...even though itz the SAME restaurant. not even a different branch.

there's another place just opp specialist shopping ctr (unsure if tis is oso crystal jade or crystal kitchen) the xlb oso not bad lor

hmm... me also not sure.. my fav hang out place for xiao long bao is crystal jade kitchen @ holland village. :grin:

talk of it now abit hungry...
