Hi everyone, do you guys have any suggestion or recommendation on which private universities (eg. RMIT in SIM, UOL in SIM etc) is highly recommended for Business courses like Business Managemt or Admin?
As i would like to know getting which uni certificate is better recognised in Singapore so to get a better pay job? Does anyone knows what is the starting salary (on average) for graduates from private uni?
thanks!

Juz a personal view. If you are trying to get a higher salary job by upgrading urself, I would recommend you to go for a better school. As long as the degree come from private uni, it doesn't make much different to the govt sector and local employers when you apply for your "FIRST" full-time job. They still bias towards local NUS, NTU and SMU.
If you have some saving or parents are able to support you, I would recommend you to go for oversea study for a full-time degree. When it come to business faculty, Oz uni doesn't offer direct honours and you have to work hard for it. I am not sure about SIM but i know NTU does offer business student with direct honours.
If you r taking up 2nd option, i would advise you to start your so call 1st job at the country where u secure ur degree and from there you shall decide whether to come back SG or continue at OZ. Nevertheless, promotion and salary increment is base on performance. Having a good degree from a reputable university will help you to get a good job at entry level.

it actually boils down to if your company recongnises the cert that the school is going to issue you. if they don't why waste the $ on that school.
