Why & how S'pore get visa exemption for so many countries?

Just curious. How did S'pore get visa exemptions for so many countries? Are they part of trade package? Since when did S'pore managed to get so many exemptions?

i was also wondering the same thing..perhaps it's cos of singapore's good reputation? and possibly trade ties with the involved countries as well..lucky us!! =)

well reputation isn't enough. Such visa free arrangement are usually two way. Countries A and B become voluntary signatories to a visa free agreement which means that citizens from both countries needn't apply visa to visit A and B respectively.

nowadays such agreements are mooted as friendly initiatives together with other initiatives such as MoU (memorandum of understanding). package sweetener as a sort.
