Why does coffee make me sleepy?

ppl drink kopi to stay awake... but

why do i need to drink kopi then i can sleep ??? i one day drink at least 3 times. one wake up drink, afternnon drink, before sleep drink.

Caffeine induces dopamine, which help you to relax. It also contain sugar, which can also make you sleepy.

It depends on the amount of caffeine that your kopi contains...
I've tried drinking kopi O sih tai and sleep soundly throughout the night but the next night, i tried kopi O sih tai Gao, i couldn't even numb my mind into sleeping mode... So ultimately, it all depends on the amount of caffeine your body is able to adapt...

caffeine is a stimulant.. so if u r sleepy after ur cuppa, means tt that level of caffeine ain't enough~ go for more man! :D

but not too much.. i drank nearly 10 cups per day (including 2 espresso on somedays) for one week running and somehow my hands started to shake a bit after tt man..

drink kopi keep me awake but i must need to drink every morning.. if i dont drink about noon time, if i never drink i will headache de... if i really tired then i drink kopi-o but it no use for me to keep awake... mayb is my mind doing trick... :)

but i will awake if i drink chinese tea...weird...zzzz
