i'm not starting to compare apple and oranges. Let's face it, PPC apps is like windows apps (take so much memory). I admit that Palm has limited multitasking ability. However, you try opening pocket word, pocket excel, then your Windows Media Player, Pocket IE, and the calendar. See how slow it's. Even if u have the XScale 400 Mhz and plenty of RAM.

Mem is not a concern when you have a large (and cheap) CF card. :D Moreover, I find ppc faster esp when playing movies including Divx movies (can Palm play Divx movies???). Also, Palm dont support emulators cuz it's slower. Well, there are pros and cons between them. :) But ppc is easier to sync when they are all microsoft's.

I owned the h2210 but despite all the programs running concurrently, it's still fast...only few jittery when it's active-sync to the PC. :)

who ask to open all heavy application in one shot, multitasking is an advantage for PPC but don't push too hard lar, purpose of PDA is still a Digital Assitance, even you using Pentium IV 3 Ghz with 2Gb of Memory if you open 3Dstudio,autoCAD,photoshop,word,excel,IE,Kazaa,Emu le.... you also find it slow rite?

Well, maybe it's just a matter of personal preference. Btw, my Tungsten T does not use expensive memory stick. There's indeed no CF slot but the price of SD Card is falling too. About Palm playing divx, yes it's possible (MMPlayer) mmplayer.com

It all depends on what you are using it for. I won't say Pocket PC is good or Palm is good.

You could do somethings PocketPC could do while Palm could not and ofcourse vice versa. This argument between PocketPC and Palm has been on for years :angry:

I used both palm & ppc b4, this is wat i feel :
palm is gd for organised address bk & memo, esp on data security :)
ppc is gd for multimedia & games, esp on emulator .. :)

I have been switched fm ppc to sony clie & recent bk to ppc.. :grin:
