According to the flyer I received, Taste of Thailand has moved to level 4. And there will also have KFC (it moved out of there sometime ago), Burger King and Sakae Sushi.

And Giant is opening soon.

I hear that from my frenz that the taste of thailand is veri cheap and nice...3-4 dishes and rice onli $24 lay.....And each dishes is quite alot also....

I think before it was renovated, there were 2 stalls selling pineapple rice. One is dunno which stall and the original one is Taste of Thailand. Too bad the rice is served on plastic plates now cos last time it used to be served in carved pineapples :D Then you will see all the little kids trying to scrape the pineapple clean :p

Wah... i see you all describing the TASTE OF THAILAND, my mouth want to water already.

I give thumbs up to this restaurant. I love their food. Esp the fried fish with the chilli, YUM!

Oh man, I am like started to miss Singapore food siah. Have been away for 1 month plus already. Brisbane's thai food i have not tried leh. Damn, must eat it when i get back to singapore in dec!

You guys must try it.

I went there yesterday.... The place change alot lolz... When u are outside, u thought the shopping centre is close cause renovated.... Front half is demolished...
When u go inside, u see nothing, all stores are close till u reach the fourth level....

The food there not bad...Though is cheap, but the food not much in each dishes, but u can call alot of dishes... I call four dishes, one soup, crabs total add up to less than forty.... Worse till they give discounts...

no need to intro liao!!

AS for them they are own relative sharing together!

And for seafood all this they supply themselve so they still earn profit!!!

they did earn big buck!

Cos they are friendly and they remember you once you go to visit for two time or more!

And did you all notice that their worker all work quite long with them... haha

But their pay not so good from what i know!!!:p

Ya what u say, i quite agree.... Now i know they relative open, i see the guys serving is young, i thought the boss employ those student to save $$, but these pple seems Malaysian to me....

For chef i think are from malaysian and for waiter are from mostly singaporean at the age between 19 above!!

i used to go there and found that all the waiter face look like ah bengs like that... not all look friendly..... but service still ok la... i think not all malaysians la.. mostly i think is singaporeans

ya all look "beng" but when you ask them to bring this and that to you they wont show you a face one!! So no need to worry... cos their service all "Smile"....

Since they started upgrading the shopping centre, I haven't go there again. Maybe wait until Giant supermart start business then go again.

It's crazy. I went on the first day that Giant opened and i can barely breathe there. Then ytd night i pass by there again and saw that the new open air carpark was ready and jam-packed with cars. SSC was teeming with perople, hehe. It has revived? :p

So crowded for Giant and I dunno whether I sway or what...A aunty was holding a basket and suddenly walked backward...the basket hit me and the sharp edge of the basket aimed onto my belly button...
then was also stepped by a few kid...got so du lan I anyhow walked and stepped onto a few person...
Now SSC got BK,KFC and pizza hut...
but I nv find "tai guo xiao chu" leh...
still got satay club...
seems like going to be a shopping and eating paradise soon....
hope it will be more successful than Sun Plaza...

The Taste of Thailand is now located on the 4th floor of SSC, right where the escalator is. There is also going to be a foodcourt at the 4th level further down from the TOT.

The Giant now is very dusty, and with so many people there, the ventilation is not very good :|

Ya, Sun Plaza is a failure, the place is too small and shops come and go. But I like the cinema as there is hardly anyone even if the show is a sneak preview.

How come I nv see it?? Maybe my eyes is at somewhere elses ba...

Sun plaza may be a failure... but I think i prefer paton there...coz nearer to my home...last time SSC is more closer to me...when I moved here in 1997...now feel a bit odd...lost the familiar feeling...

Went there to have a look few days ago. The place looks really lonely and "leng qing", like not much biz. I dunno about the food but felt that the food been hanging there for most of the day. Didn't look appetising to me :p

Somehow, Sembawang Shopping Centre is ALWAYS 'cold' to me...dunno why lehz, think is its strategic location....:( But then I like its food there...:)

visited the food court but i find tat the food court food dosn't appeal to me leh.... dont give mi tat kind of feeling tis food is nice or tis food is delicious....
